Only members of your Layerwise team. When someone opens the live URL, they sign in with GitHub, Google, or a one-time email code, and anyone outside your team is turned away. Private projects are available on paid plans: Pro includes up to 10 team members, and Business has no member limit. See Keep a project private.
Yes. Private projects ask for sign-in on both their layerwise.site address and any custom domain you connect. Custom domains are available on Pro and Business.
Yes. Switch Private off in the Publish menu whenever you want, and turn it back on the same way. Every release stays in your deployment history, so you can also roll back to an earlier version.
Yes. The project is real files on your computer. Export it as a ZIP or push it to a private GitHub repository, and export database tables as CSV or JSON. See Code and GitHub.
