Use this template to customize a survival arena game. The four fighters and closing gas provide existing systems to compare as you adjust the match pace or presentation.
What the template includes
- A stylized desert arena and gas that closes in during a match.
- Four fighter types with distinct weapons and abilities.
- Lighting settings and keyboard and mouse controls.
The template opens as a local project you can change through the conversation or the code editor. You can inspect the source for this template version before choosing how to extend it.
Copy it and make one useful change
- Install Layerwise and sign in. Choose Use this template, select a team and project name in the app, then choose Copy to Layerwise. Wait for setup and the local preview to finish.
- Choose one fighter or one stage of the match to tune first. State how the change should affect survival time, movement, or readability, and keep the other fighters unchanged for comparison.
- Ask for the change in the project conversation. This prompt is a starting point; adjust it to describe your intended result.
Add a fighter selection guide showing each character’s weapon and ability before the match starts. Keep the four existing fighters and arena rules. Make the gas boundary more visible against the sunset lighting without obscuring the characters.
Check the result before publishing
- Start a match with each fighter and confirm the guide matches its actual weapon and ability.
- Play through the gas closing in and check that the boundary remains readable.
- Try each lighting setting and confirm important controls and match feedback remain visible.
If you change fighter balance or gas timing, play complete matches before publishing. A working title screen alone does not establish that the survival loop still works.
Use the local preview controls to test the affected path. When it works, publish a release and repeat the check at the live URL. For saved records or accounts, read about the separate Local and Online databases.
